Tentative schedule for Ireland / Notre Dame Tour August 24 - September 2, 2012

Fri  Aug 24  -  Depart U S A , Inflight entertainment, meal service, and 1 free piece of luggage (50lbs.)

Sat Aug 25  -  Shannon arrival & Bunratty  -  Escorted to Claire, Cliffs of Moher, return check into Bunratty Hotel , leisure time & dinner.

Sun Aug26  -  Limerick Tour, Adare & Killarney  -  Drive to Limerick and tour, visit King John's Castle, continue south to Adare and it's thatched houses, journey into mountainous country of Kerry and into Killarney. Check into Killarney Plaza Hotel. Leisure time before dinner.

Mon Aug 27  -  Dingle Peninsula Tour  -  Visit Macken of Ireland to shop Irish souvenirs. Discover beauty of Dingle Peninsula with frequent stops for photos, shopping and site seeing. return to Killarney for dinner at Hotel.

Tues Aug 28  -  Ring of Kerry Tour  -  100 miles of marvelous scenery. Travel through Glenbeigh, Cahirciveen, and Waterville with the colorfull village of Sneem. Visit Moll's Gap and 3 lakkes of Killarney. Return to hotel for some leisure and dinner. 

Wed Aug 29 -  Blarney Castle & Cobh Heritage Centre  -  leaving Killarney into rich farming country of Cork. At Blarney, climb Castle and kiss the Stone of Eloquence". Blarney Woolen Mill to shop. Drive short distance to Cobh visit Heritage centre. Motor along south coast to Youghal and Dungarvan to Waterford and check into Granville Hotel. Relax before dinner. Walking tour in evening of Waterford.

Thrus Aug 30  -  Kilkenny Castle and Dublin  -  Travel north to Kilkenny and tour the Kilkenny Castle. Into Dublin and visit Guinness Storehouse and sample the stout. After tour check into Ashling Hotel and relax before dinner.  Dinner at Abbey Tavern with traditional ballad session.

Fri Aug 31  -  City Tour Dublin of promient historic buildings and monuments. Stop to tour St. Patrick's Cathedral, followed by the Jameson Distellery. Remaining of day free for independent activities. If there is a "Pep Rally", we would like to participate. Sightseeing, dining, and pubs are on own.  

Sat Sept 1  -  Game Day ! Off to Croke Stadium for Notre Dame vs Navy (Game ticket will be included in tour package ). After game depart for County Meath to hotel in Cavan, The Cabra Castle Hotel. After check in , relax before farewell dinner.

Sun Sept 2  -  Return to U S A -  Transfer from hotel to Dublin Airport.

This tour package (Land, Air, Game tkts) is based on an estimated rate of exchange for 2012. No hotels are reserved at this time. If hotel named is not available at time of booking other properties similar iin standard will be substituted. However, any changes may affect the overall cost of the tour. If and when this does happen I will advise.
